Fire sprinklers contain truck fire in building

WAUKESHA, WI (May 27, 2018) – Fire sprinklers contained a fire in a large box truck used to deliver cooking oil, May 27th, until the City of Waukesha Fire Department arrived and extinguished the fire. Three sprinklers contained the fire to the engine compartment with some extension into the cab.

There was little fire damage to the building. The tenant will be allowed to stay in the space and continue to operate. The only interruption to the business is the loss of the vehicle and some downtime over the weekend to clean up the water from the sprinkler system.
